Minority Business Enterprise Center

Northern California MBECTM is a federally funded program by the Minority Business Development Agency under the U.S. Department of Commerce. The Northern California MBECTM is operated by ASIAN, Inc.

 

Our mission is to actively promote the growth and competitiveness of Minority Business Enterprises via our 3 areas of service; Access to Capital (loans, lines of credit, surety bonds), Contracting which involves Public/Private Procurement and Certification Application Assistance (certification as a minority, disadvantage, small, HUB, 8(a) among others), and Technical Assistance.

 

We work with eligible minority entrepreneurs located in the Northern California region who wish to grow their businesses in size, scale, and capacity.

 

Technical Assistance
Business assistance is offered for existing businesses, There is one stop for strategy, management, marketing, and financial advice

Access to Capital
We assist MBEs securing funding such as lines of credit, term loans, bonding.

Procurement Assistance
Apply for SBA 8(a), Minority, Disadvantage, Small or Woman owned business. Learn how to do business with the public sector, identify contract opportunities, network and matchmaking
